About

Unnati, an initiative of SGBS Trust, was started in Oct 2003 with the purpose of enabling underprivileged, unemployed youth to get employed.Unnati is a 50 day programme focused on social transformation, through vocational training. The training includes Spoken English, Basic Computers, Life Skill and Values, all in addition to training in one vocation. At the end of the training, every student is guaranteed a job. Unnati maintains a 100% placement record and has placed and trained more than 5000 individuals since its inception. All students must be 18 years or above. There is no minimum education qualification, and Unnati opens its doors to all - regardless of academic or socio-economic background.
