About

The mission of Frontier Community College is to deliver exceptional education and services to improve the lives of students and strengthen our communities. Frontier is located in Southern Illinois on Highway 15, approximately 12 miles north of I-64. Frontier is an hour west of Evansville, Indiana, 45 minutes east of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and approximately an hour south of Effingham, Illinois. Founding Date 1976
