Reid State Technical College is a two-year college that provides quality academic and technical education. The college is available to students from diverse backgrounds and abilities, it does not discriminate against any person on the grounds of race, color, disability, gender, religion, creed, national origin, or age. Its main aim is to get a qualified workforce for business and industry. Reid State Technical College was created by the Alabama State Legislature in 1963.
