About

Galena Interior Learning Academy was founded in 1997 as Project Education Charter School with 40 students working on project-based education. Since then, many things have changed in this school, as it became an educational institution which is teaching and housing 300 students. Today, it is the second-largest and second-longest operating boarding school open to any Alaskan high school student.
